Marilyn O. Marshall is appointed as standing trustee and supervised by the U.S. Trustee Program, which is part of the U.S. Department of Justice. Marilyn O. Marshall is one of three standing trustees appointed to administer all the Chapter 13 cases initiated in this region of Illinois. The trustee offices are private businesses funded by administrative fees taken on the money disbursed to creditors on behalf of debtors filing Chapter 13 cases.

The Confirmation Process supports the bankruptcy community by performing the statutory duties of a bankruptcy trustee, aiding in the successful completion of chapter 13 plans by debtors and by enhancing the value of bankruptcy administration through quality service.

The focus of the disbursement process is providing accurate and timely repayment to creditors under the guidelines established by the bankruptcy code and the U. S. Trustee program. Our office disburses funds to creditors on the third Friday of each month. Creditors can find out about receiving their payments via Electronic Fund Transfer.
